The final episode in our ’30 years of dermoscopy’ podcast series features two luminaries in the world of dermoscopy and skin cancer medicine, Associate Professor Andreas Blum and Professor H. Peter Soyer. Both speakers are internationally recognised for their contributions to their field and we are excited to share their perspectives.

Associate Professor Andreas Blum from the University of Tübingen in Germany is known as a leader and developer in the diagnosis, surgical treatment and prevention of skin cancers. He shares his recollections from his career, articulating that although a dermatoscope is simple to use, it has transformed skin cancer medicine.

Professor H. Peter Soyer has similarly had a remarkable impact on dermoscopy and skin cancer medicine diagnostics, particularly in the use of medical imaging and remote diagnostics. Recognised as a pioneer and world leader, he discusses his career and views on the future of dermoscopy.
